In my agile consulting engagements, I apply a structured process that enables clients to define their agile vision, goals, and business objectives. This process, represented by the acronym EVOLVE, integrates the following activities:
- Explore and Engage
- Visualize Success
- Observe and Plan
- Lead Teams to Agility
- Visible Results
- Evolve the Enterprise
As presented in my book ‘The Agile Consultant’ this agile transformation approach ensures that enterprise leadership is engaged, the business outcome is defined, and the consulting relationship and roles are clear.
I play all roles in my agile engagements. I’m experienced in building and facilitating agile teams, and in generating leadership momentum towards agility. I’ve engaged in large scale scrum migrations, in corporate agile training programs, and as a coach to newly-formed teams, squads, and tribes. I’ve advised executive teams on agile governance, and helped professional services firms evolve to an agile consulting model.
As an executive level project executive for firms like Intel, NEC, and Cap Gemini, I’ve experienced major change initiatives, complex technical projects, and sensitive relationships. I bring extensive consultative experience, with the ability to communicate, facilitate, and negotiate at all levels.
